There are many people who want to be better evangelists but
have no idea where to start. They read books by Christians
that make evangelism appear easy and then get frustrated when
they don't get the same results.
The truth is, people who write about astounding
evangelistic results are people who are naturally gifted
evangelists and you can't be taught a gift. However
there are some steps that you can take in order to improve
your evangelism and hopefully get better results the next
time you try to reach out to someone.
This class on evangelism is broken down into two main
parts. Evangelism 101 & 102 gets into the mind of a
non Christian and attempts to get you to think from their
perspective before sharing the gospel with them. While
only God can soften hearts, these classes will show you how
to approach someone with the gospel in a way that they are
more likely to be open to.
Evangelism 201 & 202 present questions that you may
encounter while evangelizing. They help you think
through how to answer questions that you may be asked.
It's ok if you don't know the answers, the exercise of
thinking through how to answer is most important.
While some questions are open ended, after you submit
your answers you'll be shown possible answers as well as
some additional discussion about the question.
Evangelism 301 contains more questions only they are more
difficult ones that may be asked by intellectuals and
skeptics that the average Christian may not encounter often.
Some questions are difficult to answer while others are just
kind of abstract. Nevertheless these are questions
that are being asked by people who are well studied and want
to fight against the gospel.
